jewelry.
We cater to individuals seeking to outfit their wardrobes with special,
unique, signature pieces. Our designs are original and unique.
Our Promise & Guarantee to You:
Our goal is to offer you quality, artisan - crafted jewelry at an
affordable price.
Jewelry you will be proud to show off to your friends
and family.
Jewelry that will last for years and stand up to the test of
time.
We have been on the web since 1998 with thousands of happy customers.
All
our items come with a 100% satisfaction guarantee,
so you can feel confident
about purchasing from us.
Our
Philosophy
We don't believe in mass production of our jewelry. The majority
of our designs
are created once and only once. After that, the
design is retired, and another
treasure is created. This affords
each and every one of our customers the opportunity
to acquire a truly unique and individual item, without the worry that they
might see
someone else wearing the same thing.
Our items are professionally handcrafted,
using natural gemstones, minerals and organic
treasures such as pearls, amber
and coral. We pride ourselves in seeking out unusual,
seldom seen gems to incorporate into
our jewelry. You'll see many wonderful stones
used in our creations from
unusual Agates with imbedded crystals to Zebrastone.
One
Last Note:
We would like to express our appreciation and gratitude to
our
loyal customers and friends. We value the trust you have placed in us,
and will work hard to keep it. As always, we look forward to hearing
from
you with any suggestions you may have.
Warmest Regards,

CARING FOR YOUR JEWELRY:
Thank You from Baubles Design
Congratulations on the
purchase of your new jewelry. You have purchased a fine, artisan item,
hand-crafted with pride in the Hudson Valley Region of New York.
We are committed to helping you keep your jewelry beautiful for many years to
come. Here are a few helpful tips
to help you care for your new jewelry:
Never tug harshly on your jewelry! Over time, this may weaken the end joints,
allowing separation of the beads. As with all other types of jewelry, we do not recommend wearing your jewelry
during times of hard work, play, or while swimming.
When not in use, store your jewelry flat, or loosely rolled in your jewelry box
or other container. Do not bend or otherwise crimp your jewelry when in
storage.
As you wear your jewelry, it will take on a beautiful sheen.
This is
because your body oils nourish the gemstones & pearls. All that is
required to
maintain its beauty, is simply to take a soft cotton cloth and occassionally, gently wipe it
down.
If the item is particularly dirty, it may be cleaned gently with soap and water.
(Do not use harsh detergents. A simple soap such as Ivory will work well).
Again, do not tug or yank. Gently clean the gems by working the soap
lather onto
each of the gems/beads. Rinse thoroughly.
Ensure you dry the item immediately
with a soft, clean, cotton towel.
Sterling silver (and gold to a lesser-degree) acquires a natural deep patina
over time. Some people love this look, while others do not. This
patina is totally natural and does not affect your jewelry in any way.
If
you would like to bring back the original shine to your sterling, a wonderful,
totally natural way to clean your jewelry is to use
baking soda. Gently place the (dry) baking soda in the palm of one hand,
and with the fingers of your other hand take a bit of the baking soda and rub it
on the sterling. As you gently rub, you will gradually see the shine
re-appear. After you are satisfied with the appearance, wash the
jewelry under warm, clean water to remove the residue from the baking soda.
If the sterling is very small or nestled between gemstones where it is tough to
clean, take an old toothbrush coated with baking soda, and brush the silver
gently. Don't tug or rub too harshly. A slight amount of pressure is
all that is needed to clean the metal nicely.
Never expose your gemstone jewelry to ammonia, chlorine or any other type of
solvents or cleaners as this may pit or otherwise harm the natural gemstones.
